Every joint supplies. Our departments are the functional arms through which we serve the saints and fulfill the mandate of the Lord in Lagos.

Protocol

The Protocol department is the ministry of honour and order in Remnant Christian Network, Lagos, responsible for the dignified reception, comfort and coordination of ministers, dignitaries and special guests of the house. The team receives and attends to invited ministers and visitors with grace and excellence — managing reception and seating for the high table and guest ministers, coordinating the smooth flow of the programme on and around the altar, and ensuring that every guest is honoured, comfortable and well cared for from arrival to departure. Working closely with the Ushering, Welfare and Logistics & Security departments, the Protocol team upholds an atmosphere of order, courtesy and reverence — serving quietly behind the scenes so that the focus of every gathering remains squarely on the worship of God and the ministry of His Word.

Sanctuary Keepers

The Sanctuary Keepers are the custodians of the holiness and orderliness of the place of worship in Remnant Christian Network, Lagos. Their ministry is drawn from the ancient charge to keep the house of God — to ensure that the sanctuary, and every space set apart for the presence of the LORD, is clean, consecrated and ready for divine encounter. The department attends to the preparation and upkeep of the auditorium and the altar before, during and after every meeting — arranging the sacred space, maintaining cleanliness and reverence, and preserving an atmosphere that is undistracted and worshipful. They labour with a spirit of consecration, understanding that they tend not merely a building but a dwelling place prepared for God and His people. Like the doorkeepers of old who counted it a greater honour to serve in the house of God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness, the Sanctuary Keepers serve with humility and devotion, guarding the sacredness of the sanctuary so that the glory of God may rest without hindrance.

Follow Up

The Follow Up department exists to ensure that no soul who encounters Remnant Christian Network, Lagos is ever lost or left behind. They are the bridge between the altar and a settled walk with God, committed to nurturing first-time visitors, new converts and returning members into full membership and spiritual maturity. The department maintains an accurate register of guests and new converts, reaches out through calls, visits and messages, and lovingly connects each person to a prayer cell, a department and the larger family of the house. They journey with new believers — answering questions, sharing discipleship resources, and walking with them until they are rooted and grounded in the faith. Driven by the heart of the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one, the Follow Up team labours to see every visitor become a disciple, and every disciple become a labourer: total Kingdom citizens who are Heavenly focused and Earthly relevant.

Medical

The Medical department is the caring hand of Remnant Christian Network, Lagos, entrusted with safeguarding the health and physical wellbeing of the congregation, guests and ministers during every service and programme of the house. Staffed by doctors, nurses and trained first-responders who serve as volunteers, the department provides prompt first aid and emergency medical attention, manages a well-equipped medical station at every gathering, and stands ready to stabilise and, where necessary, coordinate the referral of any member or visitor who requires further care. The team also promotes a culture of health within the ministry — attending to those who are slain in the spirit and offering support to the elderly, expectant mothers, children and the vulnerable. In all of this they demonstrate the compassion of Christ, ministering healing and comfort so that the people of God may worship in peace and confidence.

Welfare

The Ministry's welfare department is tasked with the responsibility of caring for the physical needs of its community. This includes providing support to invited ministers, workers, members and first-time visitors. The department is staffed by volunteers who are passionate about serving others and committed to making a positive impact in the community. They work tirelessly to provide practical support and assistance to those in need, helping to ensure that all members of the ministry feel valued and cared for. One of the key responsibilities of the welfare department is to provide support to guest ministers. This includes providing accommodation, transportation, meals and other practical support to ensure that their visit is comfortable and enjoyable. In addition to supporting invited ministers and workers, the welfare department also provides assistance to members of the congregation who are facing financial or other challenges. This may include providing food or clothing assistance, offering counseling, or connecting individuals with other resources in the community. The welfare department is also responsible for providing support to first-time visitors to the ministry. This includes providing information about the ministry and its programs, as well as answering any questions that visitors may have. They may also provide practical support such as transportation or assistance with childcare. Overall, the Ministry's welfare department plays a vital role in ensuring that all members of the congregation feel valued and supported. Their dedication and commitment to meeting the physical needs of others helps to create a welcoming community where all members can thrive.

Ushering

David declared, 'I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. Ps 84:10b' This is the message that underscores the ministry of Remnant Christian Network Ushers. RCN ushers man the gates and act as watchmen during all events put together by the house. Their duties include maintaining prayer cover throughout meetings, organizing and directinng the seating arrangements, collection of tithes and offerings, taking headcounts, providing security and attending to members that are slain in the spirit.

Technical

The technical department is responsible for managing sound, microphones, and wiring is a critical component of the ministry's audiovisual setup. This department typically consists of technicians, engineers and volunteers who work together to ensure that the sound quality during our programs is of the highest possible standard. The department is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all audio equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and mixing boards. They are also responsible for setting up the equipment for each service or event, ensuring that all microphones are properly positioned and wired, and that the sound levels are correctly balanced. One of the primary tasks of the technical department is to ensure that the sound quality is optimal throughout the entire worship space. This involves carefully tuning the sound system to take into account the acoustic properties of the church building, as well as any potential sources of interference or distortion. In addition to technical expertise, the technical department also requires strong organizational and communication skills. They must coordinate closely with other members of the ministry staff and volunteers to ensure that everyone is aware of the audio setup and understands how to use the equipment. Overall, the technical department plays a vital role in helping to create a rich and immersive worship experience for all members of the congregation. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that the sound quality of every service is of the highest possible standard.

Sweet Psalmist

The Sweet Psalmist choir is a group of worship leaders whose spiritual ears are sharpened to hear the sound from the third realm and whose sole desire is to sing the song of the Lord and lead the people of God in procession to the throne room. They are David's mighty men.

Prayer Cell

The prayer cell department is responsible for managing prayer centers in various locations throughout the city. These prayer centers are designed to provide members of the congregation with convenient and accessible locations for fellowship and prayer. The prayer cell department typically consists of members who are passionate about prayer and committed to helping others deepen their prayer life. These members are responsible for organizing and leading weekly prayer meetings at each of the prayer centers, ensuring that the prayer life of the members is continually kindled. The prayer centers are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, providing a space for members of the congregation to come together in prayer and fellowship. They are typically located in easily accessible locations, such as community centers, schools, or other public spaces. The prayer cell department is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of the weekly prayer meetings, including selecting and preparing prayer topics, leading worship and prayer, and providing resources and support to help members deepen their prayer life. One of the key benefits of the prayer cell department is that it provides members of the congregation with a sense of community and support. By meeting regularly with other members in prayer and fellowship, members are able to build meaningful relationships and strengthen their spiritual life. Media & Publicity

The Media and Publicity department is the Information Technology and Public Relations arm of Remnant Christian Network, Lagos. The responsibilities of this unit include (but not restricted to) graphic design of flyers and banners for events, video and audio recording of sermons, distribution of sermons, photography, creating video, audio and image content for social media, disseminating relevant information of the Ministry's events and sermons, managing Remnant Christian Network's social media platforms.

Logistics & Security

The Logistics & Security department is the operational backbone of Remnant Christian Network, Lagos. They are entrusted with the seamless coordination of movement and safety across every gathering of the house — organising travel itineraries and lodging for invited ministers and guests, mobilising the transportation of equipment and materials to and from event venues, and superintending the security of lives and property throughout each meeting. Beyond movement, the department stands as watchmen at the gate. They coordinate crowd control and access management, secure the perimeter of the sanctuary and its surroundings, safeguard guests, ministers and members alike, and work hand in hand with the Ushering and Facility departments to guarantee that every programme runs in order and without interruption. Marked by diligence, discretion and a servant heart, the Logistics & Security team labours — often unseen — so that the presence of God can be ministered to His people in an atmosphere of safety, order and peace.

Facility

The facility department is responsible for managing all the physical aspects of the facility, including the spaces, props, and other resources required to hold services. This department is typically staffed by professionals and volunteers who are responsible for ensuring that the building and grounds are maintained to a high standard and that all resources required for services are readily available. The primary responsibility of the facility department is to ensure that the building and grounds are clean, safe, and welcoming for members of the congregation and visitors alike. This includes tasks such as cleaning and maintenance of the facilities, managing the landscaping and grounds, and ensuring that all safety protocols are in place and adhered to. The department is also responsible for managing and maintaining the various props and resources required for worship services. This includes items such as back drops, flowers, and other decorative elements, as well as furniture such as pews, chairs, and tables. They ensure that these items are in good condition and are arranged in a way that is conducive to worship and prayer. The facility department also plays an important role in managing the spaces within the church building. This includes tasks such as managing the use of rooms and facilities, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available for each event. Overall, the facility department plays a vital role in ensuring that the physical environment of the church is conducive to worship and prayer. Their dedication to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming facility ensures that members of the congregation can focus on the LORD without distraction or interruption.

Children

The Children department is responsible for nurturing and guiding the spiritual growth and development of RCN Lagos Children. It's goal is to raise 'total Kingdom children' who are Heavenly focused, Earthly relevant, and significant as the Salt of the earth and Light of the world. The department is staffed by professionals and volunteers who are passionate about working with children and committed to helping them grow in their faith. They provide a variety of age-appropriate programs and activities designed to help children deepen their spiritual practice and develop a strong relationship with God. The children's department is focused on creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow in their faith. This includes providing a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, as well as resources and support to help children navigate the challenges of everyday life. One of the key goals of the children's department is to help children understand their role as 'total Kingdom children.' This means helping them develop a Heavenly focus and a commitment to living a life that is relevant and significant in the world. They are encouraged to be the Salt of the earth and the Light of the world, making a positive impact in their communities and in the lives of those around them. The children's department is also known as 'Jehovah Shammah' which means 'The LORD is here.' This reflects their commitment to creating an environment where children can experience the presence of God in a tangible and meaningful way. Overall, the children department plays a vital role in helping children develop a strong spiritual foundation and become total Kingdom children. Their dedication and commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment ensures that all children within the congregation have the opportunity to grow in their faith and become the Salt of the earth and Light of the world.
